I’m find myself drawn to doing these ‘portraits’ of fruit and vegetables on a simple plate. While on a painting holiday at a friend’s cottage I found these vintage Denby Pottery china plates and painted P’s home grown apples. Original small watercolour on Arches 100% cotton 140lb white paper. (This is not a reproduction.)
