Ship to the Rest of the World

To Rest of World

Unless otherwise noted, shipping is free.   But any duty, taxes or broker fees your country may charge (see below) are the buyer’s responsibility.

All shipping to non-North American destinations is done via Canada Post’s flat fee “International Small Packet – Air” service which is generally estimated at 6 to 10 days, and insured through U-Pic.

Please note that this service does not offer a tracking number nor a guaranteed delivery time frame – it can take longer than the estimated time.   If you would like a faster method let me know and I’ll work out the additional charges.   Canada Post does offer an “International Express Post” option which provides tracking numbers, insurance and guaranteed 2-4 day delivery but it seems to start at $65 US (ouch), or “Tracked Package” which starts at about $50 US.

Duty & Customs Note

Any duty, taxes or brokerage fees are the buyer’s responsibility whether on the initial order or a return shipment.

Please note that Flock of Tea Cosy is generally unfamiliar with what your country’s regulations and charges are.

In the UK, there’s loads of information at the HM Revenue & Customs site.  Elsewhere in the EU you may be subject to VAT charges.

Lost/Damaged

The good news is – to-date this mail service has only failed once (to Italy).   Only one other package sent internationally has gone astray, and even it came back, albeit, after three months.  For information on lost or damaged packages please see general shipping information.
